PWNA Fleet Washing Certification - April 5 & 6, 2012

Spring has come early for most of us and power washing work has begun.  The PWNA is offering an opportunity for you to get a step above your competitors by becoming PWNA Certified in Fleet Washing.  PWNA instructor Paul Horsley will be holding the certification April 5 & 6, 2012 in Calgary, Alberta (Canada).

With more than 35 years industry experience, Paul is the mastermind behind one of Canada’s most successful power wash companies - Scotts Pressure Wash. The company was founded nearly 50 years ago by his late father. Paul is a second generation power washer. President and owner, Paul runs the company from his Calgary, Alberta head office and has satellite operations in Edmonton, Vancouver, Saskatoon and Regina. Paul has a staff of over 40 employees and a fleet of more than twenty three mobile units. In addition to fleet washing, commercial building and flat surface pressure washing, Paul has developed the industry in the area of rail car cleaning. Paul has been an active member of the Power Washers of North America (PWNA) since 1996. His insight, guidance, and professionalism have proven to be true assets to our Association. Instructor’s Bio: Steve James joined forces with his brother Kevin in 2005 to grow Great Lakes Pressure Cleaning (founded in 2000) into Michigan’s premier power washing company. Steve’s success in the wood restoration market spawned a retail and distribution arm of the company called “The Stain Shop.” The company now operates all commercial, residential and retail services as The Stain Shop. Their skilled wood restoration crews travel the entire state of Michigan restoring cedar and log homes, while servicing decks and fences in their local market.

Steve is a Michigan State University business graduate and resides with his family in Linden, Michigan.

PWNA 20th Anniversary Cruise

Sail away with the PWNA to celebrate the 20th Anniversary of the PWNA!  The PWNA Board of Directors’ invite you and your families to join us on a 3 night Disney cruise October 25-28, 2012.  The cruise will follow our annual convention which will be held October 22-24 in Orlando, Florida.  Watch our website for more details on the convention.

The PWNA will be offering the House Washing and Roof Cleaning Certification courses at the upcoming ACR Round Table March 9-10 in Easton, PA.  The cost for each course is $149 with a PWNA membership.

The Wood Restoration Certification course will also be available Saturday, March 24, 2012 in Linden, MI.  The cost for this course is $395 for PWNA members or $595 for non-members (price includes a one-year membership).
